The Forest Primeval is the product of a years long collaboration between musician and composer Alex Luquet (aka Sailcloth) and filmmaker Daniel Paashaus (aka paas-haus). Premiering on first Friday in February 2023 at The Ice House in Bethlehem, PA, this original performance showcases the duo’s short films, photography, spoken word, and live music. Luquet will be performing unreleased solo work, including a live score to some of the films, and will be releasing his new EP, Resting Fields.

The evening will begin at 7pm with a gallery of photography and sculptural work by Paashaus, along with beverages and light refreshment. The live show will begin at 8pm in The Ice House’s historic space. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door.
