Sarah Carlson | DanceLink returns to the IceHouse Tonight Series with a live dance showcase on Friday & Saturday, September 10th & 11th at 7pm.

Six original dance works will unpack a theme or idea linked to what it means to be a woman in the 21st century. From internalized stereotypes to racial awakening to modern medical imaging, the program focuses upon the human struggle at the core of these themes. A talk back with the artist will be held following the Saturday night performance.

The program features music by local artist, Micah Sadigh, and poetry by local poet, Dierdre Van Walters. The artwork of Kenyan Grace Mugala will be showcased in the lobby for the patrons to enjoy/purchase.

The cast includes Ciara Alford, Sarah Carlson, Karen Fox, Caeleigh Griffiths, Rachel Halkias, Cindy Lozada, Thalia Mendez, Jessica Minor, Corinne Mundy and Yesenia Paula

Covid precautions: Patrons are requested to be masked during the performance. Performers will be unmasked.
